Sally has been involved with Shizenryu for 20 years and has attained 5th Dan black belt.

Sally started training in the empty hand arts at the age of 10. She studied in Wado-Ryu for 7 years in which she attained Shodan. Once gaining her Shodan, she started to study pushing hands. This was a big jump from the style that she was previously studying. The questions that were appearing within her training were no longer being answered in Wado-Ryu but were within pushing hands.

Sally started teaching in 1999.

In 2005, Sally left the UK and moved to New Zealand where she is now teaching one on one and small groups.
